My Approach to Relationship & Dating Coaching

Relationships are one of the most powerful influences on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. When they are healthy, they can bring joy, stability, and support. When they are strained, they can create stress, anxiety, and a deep sense of loneliness (even when you’re not physically alone).

Whether you are single or partnered, my approach is to:

  1. Understand your unique story: your relationship history, attachment style, core beliefs, and emotional needs.

  2. Identify and break unhelpful patterns:  the cycles of communication, boundaries, and self-sabotage that might be holding you back.

  3. Build a foundation of emotional safety: both within yourself and in your connections with your partner.

 

We’ll work together using evidence-based counseling tools, emotional processing techniques, and holistic practices to help you:

Is this for singles or couples?

Both! I work with individuals who are dating, individuals who want to start dating in a healthy way, and couples looking to strengthen their relationship.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

While therapy often focuses on processing the past and diagnosing mental health concerns, my coaching approach is forward-focused and action-oriented. We explore patterns that may be holding you back, but our primary goal is to give you tools, strategies, and mindset shifts to help you create the love and connection you want now. I provide a structured, supportive space with clear steps and accountability so you can make tangible progress toward your relationship goals.

What types of relationship challenges do you work with?

I work with clients experiencing communication breakdowns, trust issues, emotional disconnection, recurring arguments, intimacy struggles, and uncertainty about the future of their relationship. I also support singles navigating dating, heartbreak, or patterns they want to change before entering a new relationship.

How long will it take to see results?

Every client’s journey is unique. Some notice shifts within a few sessions, while others experience deeper, more gradual change over several months. The pace depends on your goals, level of commitment, and the complexity of the issues we’re working on.

What if our issues feel “too big” to fix?

It’s completely normal to feel like your challenges are overwhelming or “too big” to work through. In coaching, we break things down into manageable steps so you don't have to tackle everything at once. Even the biggest changes start with small, consistent actions, and my role is to guide you through those steps, offering support, perspective, and practical tools along the way.
